With the start of the 2018 summer flight programme at the beginning of May, Swiss airline Germania is operating from Zurich a total of 41 flights a week to 18 destinations – a capacity increase of 36% over the 2017 summer season. The carrier is expanding services to popular destinations in Spain, Greece and Egypt, including new routes to Ibiza, Corfu and Tenerife. Zadar (Croatia) is another first-time destination. Flights to Turkey are being re-introduced, reflecting renewed interest in travel to that country.

Since the beginning of this year, the independent airline Germania has been expanding its activities in the business travel market and has joined VDR, the German Business Travel Association.
